TSA has shown itself to have been a very, very bad idea. Disband it NOW.

I hope people wake up and start seeing this for what it is. We are not any safer because of the TSA...

Well...I hope my response stands the 'test' of the Admin/Mods here. Here goes nuttin...

If it were in my power to do so I would find all those concerned with humiliating that Marine and take them into a room with no windows and no cameras or microphones. Then I or one of my assistants would drop kick them into next year. Then after they had recovered some they would be escorted back to their work stations. Then I would read them The Riot Act and FIRE THEM ON THE SPOT!!! No severance pay, NO unemployment checks, no nothing. Then I'd go find that jerk of a Boss of the TSA and fire his worthless butt. Then me and my 'assistants' would go out for BBQ and Beer.
I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

I actually had a good experience with TSA this past week. I flew back from South Carolina to Texas and had 8 boxes of 5.56 ammo with me. I thought it would be a hassle but the whole thing actually went very smoothly. It may be a case of good cop, bad cop. You rarely hear of the good ones, but you ALWAYS hear about the bad ones.

I have had virtually no dealings with TSA except for the married couple who moved into my County a few months ago and I was checking out their property sale (I'm an appraiser.)

They were very nice people actually "former" Military and gun friendly to the max. I don't know how well they do their jobs but like any other Agency, there are going to be those who do not do the job well and make all of them look bad.

Just one bad cop and you'd think the whole department is guilty as sin to some people. I think the TSA needs better guidelines when dealing with different situations.

Wouldn't it be nice if it were only ONE bad TSA agent...there seems to be so very many idiots assigned there.

No doubt that there are some good people with the TSA. The problem is that there are some incompetent jerks who take their power to ridiculous limits just because they can. Common sense or an IQ over 85 should be enough that you don't tell someone without legs to get out of the wheelchair and walk over to the other side of the room. Dear God!
