Just how did he have a vast arsenal when the weapons belonged to his mother and not to him??

More media hyperbole to advance their agenda of total gun control.

I don't blame Nancy Lanza for what her son did, but you have to wonder why she allowed him access to guns. She knew he had psychological problems and was a loner. Why, why, why weren't those guns locked up in a safe with NO way for him to get to them? Maybe she was in parental denial.

I wonder how they know the check was for him to purchase another gun? Maybe she wrote in the memo "gun" but it would be nice if the article gave a reason that they reported that.

Oh, and based on the guns he had, we also possess "a VAST arsenal".

Sounds to me that they say "arsenal" for anything over 1 gun and 15 rounds of ammo

In orange: I think she does deserve a significant degree of accountability because she allowed him access to those weapons. Based on what I've read, she specifically gave him gave him that access. Now maybe she never saw the potential for violence, but if the reports are to be believed, then there was most certainly evidence that would have let her there had she looked and/or paid attention.

Oh, yes, yes...I should have said I used to have a vast arsenal until that unfortunate boating accident.

    RIP vast arsenal.

I have to say this, because most wont. Nancy Lanza is to blame for her son having access to these weapons. It is HER fault. The weapons were not secured against unauthorized hands.

To the article, more sensationalized wording to make it seems worse than it was...

If I had just 1600R I would consider myself as being out of ammo.

Gee, I have six guns too. One of them is my AR15. I also have some swords (A small collection of antique cavalry sabers). I think there is a knife or two around here someplace as well. I would have more ammo too, if I had been smart enough to stock up before the buying panic hit.

When I have extra time I also play a couple of video games on my computer.

Does this mean that I might be a homicidal nut job? Funny, I thought I was just a normal guy.

I think I should wallpaper my man-cave with empty ammo boxes.

    My thoughts also.

Maybe they meant he owned 6 Arsenal brand guns, not that six guns was an arsenal
