I have named my SW 640 Pro

I don't name guns, really. But of the many guns I do have, I think one has earned a name. My 640 SW pro w/Ahrends tung oiled boot grips.

Henceforth she shall be called Tinnitus. That's what she gave me when I had a ND without protection.

All is well. Tinnitus was merciful, afflicting only me with her mask. The Tinnitus is not bad, I can already ignore it for long stretches. I've learned my lesson. I was quite upset for several days mostly at my self, but that's passing, so I might as well find some humor in the darn dumb events. I'll post a pic tomorrow. I'm kind of tired right now, and the cicadas have arrived early in Georgia.

I think Tinnitus is a good name. Those in the Club will get it, and those that are ignorant will think it one of Zues' many progeny. Can't lose. And its definitely better than "Hand" or "Foot" of "Knee"

Note to self - ditch the .357 mags in snubbys and go with standar 158 gr '38s.

Blacky or Painless are the only names my guns answer to.

    Behold Tinnitus

    In all her T-giving glory:

As I stated in my earlier post, I made a mistake, nobody was hurt, so I have to make the best of it. A light hum in one ear and faint cicadas in the other. Many experience worse things in life. I look at this event as the Big Guy upstairs giving me a warning - next time I might not be so lucky. Point taken, Big Guy, point taken.

    Carry on.

Somehow I think the catchphrase "This will only hurt a little bit..." would be a LOT more effective than "Behold Tinnitus!"
