What is the last thing that you spent too much money on? ...the thing that you knew you're spending too much on, but had to have it anyway? This does not mean you spent more than you should have for that item, meaning its not that you got a bad deal, you just had no business buying it in the first place.

I live by the following so this thread does not apply.

Let it never be said that the gentleman has an expensive or inexpensive taste, he merely knows the true worth of his satisfaction.

I did get a bit carried away recently on a fly rod but the above still applies.

A rail for an AR. Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II FSP. 400 bucks for it....almost could have got a new blue label Glock for that price lol.

Funny thing is that I don't even have the rifle yet, still waiting on it to come in. Got most all of the accessories and upgraded parts bought though. Probably spent too much on all of that stuff. Come to think of it I'm spending too much on that rifle all together but who cares, I want it.

Nikon D3100 kit with case and extra lens, etc. Our point and shoot broke. Or at least the body got bent enough to stop the lens from coming out. My wife thought we were getting another point and shoot. But I have always wanted a DSLR. And since it was my money, we got the DSLR. I love it though. We actually got a good deal on the kit, but it was about twice what my wife expected to spend. lol

New mattress set. Yikes! More than the GNP of some third-world countries.

I have no problem spending money on a great meal from a great restaurant. A meal created by a talented chef is a true work of art and should be enjoyed. Don't get me wrong here, I love guns, but a great gun is easier to find than a great meal.

We just got a new mattress set too! It's a memory foam/ gel mattress with a coil innerspring. Then I decided it was a little too firm so I bought a memory foam mattress topper for it. Now it's just right.

    It's only money, right?

    An engagement ring.

The ring itself was a deal...the 20 years after have cost me a fortune.
