My Comments: Mr. Bloomberg, how are those 'no legal guns for legal citizens' ban and 'stop and frisk' policies working out for you now? So, Mr. Bloomberg destroys decades of crime decreases in NYC, to advance his petty national political aspirations, while trying to screw the rest of us at the same time. Mr. Nanny Bloomberg, we all out here in 'sane' places do not want to be like NYC. Wait a minute, the rest of you in NY State are soon to be just like NYC. I don't envy you.

Time for NYC to wake up and vote for people with common sense. I doubt it will happen any time soon. I wouldn't live there if you paid me.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Your looking at the wrong stats. These areas highlited by the NY Post had low numbers to begin with, and it only takes a few to make a large percentage difference.

Apparently you can reduce crime by ignoring the Bill of Rights and creating a police state. As long as you are willing to give up your rights for security. We will have to wait and see if they start searching the rich on the streets.

26000 residents per square mile create some problems for enforcement, but the crime rate in the city still is higher than outstate NY., as it is in most states.

Actually I am using Sal Alinsky's tactics; the tactics of the Progressive Left. I am pointing out the HUGE precentage growth in VIOLENT CRIME IN NYC. And it will continue to grow as our socialist economy degenerates. Read 'Rules for Radicals'. To fight the enemy of the Constitution, you must understand them first.

By the way - if you study history, 'Remember the Maine' is a perfect example of how this all works.

In all fairness to Bloomberg, we're confusing issues here. Crime may be spiking in NYC, but it has nothing to do with Bloomberg's reign, or the gun control situation in the U.S. Gun permits have been nearly impossible to get for most NYers for longer than I've been alive, and I grew up in NYC in the 70s and 80s. If you're not an off duty police officer or well connected, then you won't be carrying legally in NY. Same as it ever was.

There's a Rock n Roll tune in there somewhere... Not Robert Plant... Hep me out all you rock n roll oldtimers.
Firing a suppressed is on my Bucket List.

I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

America...a Constitutional Republic. NOT a democracy as the liberals would have us believe.
