Gosh, ya think?? Damn that is one uber cool setup, a 1914 Hotchkiss 8mm MG. Same caliber as the MG34.

I have to ask myself did the cops pay the actual retail price or merely confiscate it? Just curious. As an interesting side note I have a 1918 37mm AP Hotchkiss round complete. It's a prized possession. That gun and tripod fully functional and with ammo is worth a pretty penny.

If the 2A was followed to the letter, we'd all be buying our machine guns at thrift shops.

Alex your statement reminded me of something I saw more than 25 years ago while vacationing in Montana. I had just stepped inside a likker store in Eureka. As I stepped thru the door much to my amazement a wood rack of used rifles and shotguns, at least 6 or 8. I was flabbergasted.

    Only in Montana.

NN762. Buy your guns at the local liquor store. You right there pardner, only in Montana. Well, maybe one of the Dakotas, but no where else.

There's 1 or 2 liquor stores here in northern Michigan that sell guns too.

I just left the workbench and table in the garage a mess from working on holsters. That pic makes me feel better about it.

Those chicks OD'd on Ugly Pills...and that was after running through an ugly tree forest and hitting every low hanging limb on the way through. There's not enough dark to make up for the lack of liquor for that crew.

Gimme a break MAC...."worth a pretty penny" is a term that predates me even. My Gramma and Grampa used to say stuff like this all the time.

Your pennys would have to be 99.9% gold. A bag full. Then we'll chat.
