Cool Everyone Here Has A Unique Handle/Call Sign...Why/How Did Y'all Choose Yours??

Sometimes when I look at a members DefCarry name/Handle/Call Sign I wonder if it might be some kind of code? I look at JeanLouise's name and figured that might be her name in Real Life or the name of someone she thinks highly of. Retmsgt is easy. He's a Proud Ret MSGT.

I followed a link to here (DefCarry.com) from a similar website where I've been a member I think for 3 or 4 years now. They are more adult oriented so when some of them get mad at our govt their words clearly reflect that and some of those words wouldn't Stand to the scrutiny of the Owner/Mods here. I am a member of easily a dozen websites with nearly as many Handles. I chose to keep my Call Sign here the same as that over there with subtle changes. Plus the day I decided to join that site I couldn't for the life of me think up a cool sounding name. A buddy of mine from 18 years ago had *noname* as his handle on the CB. So I took his name and added the '762' for my AK47. BTW noname had some very nice guns including a Thompson Contender with 3 different barrels. He even had scoped handguns.
He also carried a GHB (Get Home Bag) w/3 days rations every time he drove his tanker.

I've noticed several here have taken a handle of all digits like 031311 I think it is. I've wondered how he chose this as his handle? What say all of ye? How about it 031311??

I like anonymity so I chose a fictitious name.

You're right, my Mother named me that and it kind of stuck.

I was injured in an 18 wheeler wreck in 1990. I was off work for about 2 years. Most of that time I was lying around, thus lionround.

Mine is a bible verse that I use. It reminds me that every day there is hope for anyone regardless of who they are or where they are in life. We can't change yesterday and we don't know if we will have tomorrow but with Christ there is hope today.

    Simple.

    1. I am old.
    2. I am a man.
    3. I shoot and carry a .45

    Hence, oldman45.
    A 9mm might expand but a .45acp never shrinks.
