    Favorite Small Town Names

In a recent thread there were some interesting small-town names. So I thought I'd start this thread, so everybody can tell us about their own favorite small-town names. For me, my favorite is Monkey's Eyebrow, Kentucky with honorable mention to Black Gnat, Kentucky. What small-town names strike your fancy?

Here in Pa. we have quite a few odd town names. There is Bird In Hand, Intercourse, Paradise, Mauch Chunk, that can't seem to make up it's mind between that and Jim Thorpe.

Here's a link you might enjoy.

Louisiana has a Start but does not have a Stop. It does not have a Sunrise but has a Sunset.

Northern California has Hayfork and Peanut.
Roanoke, VA was once known as Big Lick (for the salt deposits favored by deer, elk and buffalo)

Well, here in Indiana the naming of cities and towns is a little strange; South Bend is in the north, North Vernon is in the south, and French Lick isn't what you think it is either!!!
