Unique CCW Method Yields Unanticipated Benefit!

The other night when I got ready to go out on the town, I found that the belt snaps on my old IWB holster had worn out, so I had to come up with another carry option. Only problem was, I couldn't remember the combination to my gun safe, and the only firearm I had handy was my Garand out in the truck. I'm a pretty big fellow, though, and resourceful, so I was able to come up with a solution.

First, I made a Mexican loop out of 1/2 inch rope and installed it at appendix position. Second, I attached an ankle holster to my right leg. With this set up, I was able carry the Garand concealed down the front of my right pants leg.

It made it almost impossible for me to sit down, but I had four different gals try to pick me up that night!

That has to be the strangest CCW story I have ever read.

    Funny though.

I met BigJon today and he is big enough to pull it off. I did not see the Garand, but I did look at his AR-15 and his Series '80 Colt.

By the way, Jon, the mag won't fit my Springfield. I'll send it back next week. I'll get one to try. The vertical piece on the base is too tall.

Tried it, but couldn't do it w/ my Garand without taking the scope off.
