    D-Day

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Yep, I listened again to Reagan's speech at Normandy again, moving words. My Mom lost two uncles that day. She tells the story of the soldiers coming to her Grandmother's house twice that day.
I'd rather be lucky than good any day

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

    Thanks, JL.

We're losing that generation of heroes too quickly nowadays.

They truly were fighting to defend our country and our way of life. How different our lives would be today without their sacrifices.

Yeah, I got tapatalk, too. So what?

I work at a vintage airplane collection & stood at the C-47 (ours was a D-Day participant) today looking at the invasion stripes and even climbed in it for the first time today, just taking it in. We sometimes get WWII vets in & I was hoping especially today maybe we would, but with the storms it was a quiet day...
