Yep, I listened again to Reagan's speech at Normandy again, moving words. My Mom lost two uncles that day. She tells the story of the soldiers coming to her Grandmother's house twice that day.

I work at a vintage airplane collection & stood at the C-47 (ours was a D-Day participant) today looking at the invasion stripes and even climbed in it for the first time today, just taking it in. We sometimes get WWII vets in & I was hoping especially today maybe we would, but with the storms it was a quiet day...
