Ah, we can't win it every year. Better luck next year, Pens.

Sorry, my frends from Pittsburgh (where I lived as a young man), but my spouse only has a Boston T-Shirt = I have to tote the party line in the house.

We have a Civil War in our house when the Cpas play the Bruins. Wife is a Caps fan first, then B's!

That was an awesome last 90 seconds with the extra attacker on. Should be a good cup final!

Couldn't be happier seeing the Penguins get SWEPT. Get the Blackhawks to win their series tonight and it'll be a great cup finals.

You know the difference between hockey players and basketball?

Lebron James has to get carried off the ice by his team mates because of a CRAMP!

Greg Cambell of the Boston Bruins played one minute during a critical time against the Penguins with a BROKEN LEG! And skated off on his own!

Reading various stories about the series and this made me smile on many levels... Time for the Penguins to waddle home.

Crosby, Malkin, Iginla go home with goose eggs -- The Bruins held the best offense in the NHL to two goals in four games, and even more impressive, they held Sidney Crosby, Jarome Iginla and Evgeni Malkin all pointless. Crosby, a Hart Trophy candidate and entering this series a Conn Smythe candidate, clearly was frustrated throughout the series, constantly complaining to the referees, taking bad penalties and having a meltdown of epic proportions in Game 1 that set the tone for the series and let the Bruins know they were under the collective skins of the Penguins.

As a Pens fan I have to say that this playoff series really hurt me. It's one thing to lose to a good team in a hard fought series in say 6 or 7. But this series looked like the pens just mailed it in.

I know much of the credit goes to the Bruins for having a good game plan and great execution but man did we look like crap or what?

I also hate how the bandwagon fans come in and chirp about bad goal tending, about how Vokoun didn't play well. But the reality was that it was a total defensive failure by the Pens and Vokoun actually played OK. You just can't stop every puck when you are getting shelled. : )

It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

While I am having fun and enjoying the demise of the Penguins, I am a true HOCKEY fan and I respect the game and all the players that play with heart. A goalie can and will have a bad night now and again, but you're right, the series can't be blamed on Vokoun or goalie play in general. If the guys in front of you aren't doing their jobs, things are not going to go well. The Bruins did an amazing job on the defensive end of the ice and it showed with 2 shutouts and only 2 goals allowed in the series, whereas the Pens simply didn't. Defense wins games in just about every sport. Looking forward to the Cup Finals, but then a sad 4 months til it all cranks back up again.

Way to go Bruins. I just could not stand the thought of the Pens in the final and the announcers bromance with Crosby.
I'd rather be lucky than good any day

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
