When We DIE...What's Your Wish For Your Service or Remembrance?

This has weighed heavily on my mind the last 3 years or so. If the USA is not in the Second American Revolution I would prefer to go out quietly with my closest kin either nearby or before my house stinks it up to high Heaven....That way hopefully my stuff goes to who or where I want it to go.

Throughout my life I've had experiences that 'went the extra mile' with me. Some of you here know exactly what the Hell I'm talking about.

I'm a little maxed out right now. Too much Battle Hymn of The Republic and Skeeter Davis and I've gone off the deep end.
    -----------------------
If my wishes are adhered to I want certain arms/ammo/stuff to go where I been sayin'. My Ponderosa and my truck to go where I say...the rest hopefully goes to the Patriot Movement in any way that helps Our Cause.........my ashes in my powder horn to be dropped where my Sis knows where.

I don't much care for what happens to my body after I pass, I won't need it where I'm going.

Physical and monetary possessions will go to my son. He can decide what he'd like to keep or do away with.

I would like my last moments to be encouraging my family and singing praises to the Lord.

I want Kate Beckinsale to weep quietly in the back row of the service, just to make people wonder.

Joni Mitchell or Joan Baez would do it for me.

I don't know what it's called exactly but I'd like one of those CD memorials one can make on a computer and scanner. It would chronicle my lifetime with photos, favorite music of Hymns, select Rock and CW tunes and mementos. Pour my ashes in my Powderhorn and the overflow in a favorite WWII 30cal can.
After the service have a few cold six packs of Beck's and Humboldt Brown and Jamesons and juice or pop or coffee. Funerals or memorial services are sad enough. I'd rather it be more of a celebration than just a cryathon.

I want my headstone to read, "see, I told you I was sick".
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Personally, I would liked to be remembered in a way that showed I had a good life and possibly motivated people to do the same. Something like:

"He died doing what he loved doing, with and for the people he cared about most. His wish for everyone was to make the most of every day - helping to make things a little better along the way."

Hopefully I don't need it anytime soon, but I kind of like that.

Powder me out.... creame me.... and then store me next to the boxes of my dogs. It is what I leave behind that is more important to making sure that 'my intent' (politically or family wise, ethier/or) is legally followed! I don't want military honors, though I know my family will negate that wish......... so be it.

I started a small endowment (and yes, I got past the IRS) towards future injured Vets........... nuff said!

One rarely gets to choose how and when they will go, so i don't fret much about that. My family knows that I love them and tried to do my best for them, some will admit it, some wont. But, I want my book collection to go to someone who will appreciate them; my guns and ammo to go to people I actually care about (not to those who think they deserve something); and my pastor to preach a straight salvation sermon at my funeral where hell's hot and heaven's sweet. That's about all I care about.

i want to be cremated and be spread in the ocean. i'm not much of a boater or anything but the thought of rotting in a box never has sat well with me. plus the cost is ridiculous. my stuff will be left to my wife and/or son.
