    Happy Fathers Day

My birthday was Friday, so (as always) we spent today with my siblings and their families bbq'ing and swimming at my house. We had the pleasure of my grand-nephew take his first dip our pool. It was a delight to see him at six months, giggling and having so much fun. I treasure these times.

Tomorrow, just my wife, son and I are going spend the day up at the lake skiing and tubing.

    What're ya'll doing to celebrate?

Daughter took me to lunch today at our favorite place, and I grilled steak and lobster with baked potato this evening, not much time for Father's Day tomorrow so today was it for us. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

    Cool

About 2 weeks ago a major bridge in my area crashed into the river here. So I had to make a 20M detour to go pick up 'sum stuff'. Funny how life works out sometimes.
I checked the round trip mileage to see how much farther I had to drive. Two completely different routes. Mileage was for all intents and purposes exactly the same; at 20M. Weird

One day is pretty much the same here as the one preceding the last one. I never married and never had any kids.
