I love his reaction at the end.

OP That was just freaking unreal!!!!!!!!!!!! And the look on that hunters face was priceless along with his verbal response which was exactly what I was saying!!!!!!!!!!!

Right after this vid I watched a Polar Bear trying to get at a cameraman only THAT BEAR WAS HUNGRY...the first bear was neighborly.

If that had of been me I don't think I'd ever hunt bears again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can clearly see he is shaking a bit when he turns the camera on himself.

I have NO clue how I'd react in that situation.... Other than I'd DEFINATLY need a backup set of under-roos!

I was thinking that at least the guy would have a deer rifle up in the tree stand.
But he would have to be completely ready - the bear took under 2 seconds to climb that tree.
Even if he got a shot off, it better be a good one. He would have no time with a bolt action rifle to get a second shot off.

    Wow!

That bear came up that tree FAST! I'm pretty sure I'd have "shipped my pants".

I carry a Kahr CW9 with me in the woods when I archery hunt and in that situation I would have been shooting that bear. IF I could keep my cool that is.

    That was just CRAZY!

On a scale of 1 to 10 that rates a pucker factor of at least 15.

What incredible reserve the guy had to keep filming like that!

Like Timmy, I think I woulda "dropped anchor".

I used to carry a G30 with a 10mm barrel when I was deer hunting, although I love that he didn't shoot. Like the title said, the bear just stopped by to say "hello".

Yah, I'm not even in bear country and I carry a sidearm when hunting for such unforeseen reasons. We still do have hogs, wild dogs and 2-legged dirt bags roaming around (although none of them can climb that fast - that was impressive).

I hate bears, having been mugged by them backpacking before. I can't really say what I would have done but I doubt I would have let it get close enough to give me a kiss.

Did you see the look on the bears face? You know it was thinking "I'm finding another tree, this one smells like crap!"
