A mere 200k will put you into one based on my search. But it's pretty cool.

I could live in that but then again I would have to after selling the house to buy it.

I don't get it. You can buy a full-sized, land yacht, tour bus decked out with a Jeep in tow for that price.

You can buy a real tank for that price. Military Vehicle Sales and Appraisal Service

You could build one yourself for WAY less than $300K!

Every once in a while a Cadillac Gage v150 comes up for sale on the internets. They sold lots of them overseas to desert countries where rust is an unknown thing.
If I was going to spend that kind of money on a vehicle it would either have to be total luxury...or armored.

It's cool, but there's nowhere close to 300K of value there. I can see them hooking a few eccentric rich folks, but I don't see how they're getting a pipeline of customers that are gonna go for that.

With the price markup of those I don't think they need a pipeline of customers. Just a few will do.

I know a couple who sold their house and bought a beautiful camper (not that brand) and now tour around the country living in camp grounds. Maybe that's what this guy has done.

Looks like it would appeal to people who go off road and is self contained. Good Bug Out vehicle for all you bug outters.

I agree that you could get a lot more for your money with something else though.

I don't see the value here. You would have to seriously want to be off the road to make this anything like worthwhile. For the same coin, you can get a much larger and very nice Class A motorhome. Not for me, thanks.

For that kind of money, you could buy a convertible Corvette and spend a few years in hotels.

Interesting site, I like the Huey, restored and flyable $175,000 is a fair price.

IIRC I saw the EarthRoamer featured on Travel channels “Extreme RVs”, that thing will go just about anywhere and is quite plush, but at $300,00+ I will have to win the lottery first.
