An unconscious man was found in California, he was American with ID from Florida. He soon after recovered his consciousness. There were only two problems: he had no idea who he was and he only spoke Swedish:

There was a case several years ago of a man in Arizona I think, who had all kinds of unusual skills and memories but did not know who he was. For instance, he could work on airplane engines. When he finally recovered, he was just some average guy with no special skills. The mind is a curious thing.

This guy here, who wants to speculate that he was some kind of government secret agent that got "erased?"

Weird. Maybe, some day, he'll remember how he learned to speak Swedish .

I agree Paramedic...the brain is a curious thing.

I had that dream once. All the nurses were blonde and looked like supermodels. The doctors surprisingly were also all female and blonde. All about age 18. There was a big tub of liquid chocolate, too. I spoke perfect Swedish. Hospital stays are soooo strenuous.

The news last night said he had been identified by a sister and had lived in Sweden and had a business there in the past.

Unfortunately, the brain does not invent knowledge, it has to be learned somewhere.

I figured it must be something like that because like OV said, it had to be learned somewhere (before it can be "remembered").

Amazing - after he knew who he was, was that the end of the unusual skills?

Even weirder: in the article they state the same thing but only quote her as saying he just disappeared awhile back.

Maybe that's what happened to all of us - the America People.
We woke up believing Obama was President when in reality he's a grammar school teacher in Des Moines.
