Blatant Anti-Gun show on National Geographic Channel

Well NGC has jumped into the propaganda band wagon like michael moore is notorious for. I made the mistake of watching the following show and could not believe the total unadulterated lies presented. Not sure if the link will allow you to watch the show but be sure you are wearing chest waders as it gets mighty deep. They really need to get back to reporting the migration of the Monarch butterfly or the latest dig in Outer Mongolia.

Typical trash. Check out the bios of the "journalists" responsible.

"In 2007, Darren directed Current’s content for Live Earth, the worldwide benefit concert organized by former Vice President and Current co-founder Al Gore. He produced several other specials for Current – both in the studio and in the field -- including the central piece in Current’s 2008 Election coverage, Obama’s Army, which provided an inside look at youth participation in the Obama campaign. The piece won a 2009 Webby Award."

    What a tool.

The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way."

I wish, if they are going to do "documentaries" about an issue, they would tell the truth and let the viewers decide. Dishonesty is dishonesty, even if it comes from The National Geographic.

I don't care if someone doesn't want to own a gun or doesn't feel that they could responsibly use one...but don't deny the right to others who feel differently. This kind of programing is agenda driven, not information driven.

NGC should stick to telling us how the polar ice caps are melting and why my X-terra is the reason.

Another example of good shows gone bad. Heck even the Weather Channel is doing reality shows.

National Geographic was removed from our household subscriptions way back when they got wholeheartedly on the environmental bandwagon. Each and every magazine issue became a strident drum-beat for overt and hypocritical environmental propaganda. I've had no use for the organization since. It's not surprising at all that they would promote gun control as well. A contemptible group!
