    ZIONSVILLE -
An Indiana woman is leading a charge to keep guns out a popular coffee shop.

Indiana law allows Hoosiers to legally carry a gun if they have a permit. A Zionsville mom says Starbucks should join other businesses to ban guns at their stores, regardless of the law.

"This picture of a man at Starbucks with his Glock and two cups of coffee and a scone," said Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

Watts showed Eyewitness News a picture from a follower on Twitter who's mad she's asking Starbucks to change their gun policy.

"I did not realize that I was taking my kids to Starbucks and they could be standing next to someone with a loaded weapon," said Watts.

I suppose if she walked in a Starbucks and a cop in uniform was having his morning coffee, she would grab her kids and run.

When these boycotts come up, I go by the bank to get some two dollar bills and then go spend several at Starbucks in support of the Second Amendment.

I don't think she will have any success. They tried a massive push at the original Starbucks here in Seattle, and had all sorts of backing. That didn't go anywhere. We should continue to show support for their decisions though so they don't give in.

I was not aware that Starbucks was a Self Defence Friendly Coffee Shop.
Looks like I'll have to show my support and go get me an overpriced cup of Coffee.
With my 9 mm in my pocket of course.

Never felt so safe as the day I ate lunch in a little Coffee Shop in Wyoming.
All the Customers were packing Open Carry!
I thought, a man would have to be the Worlds biggest FOOL to try and rob this place.
And I had the best meal I've ever had, comfortable that we were all safe!

More contrived outrage, to be sure. Besides, it's an M&P in the obviously-staged photo, not a Glock.

Funny how that Glock looks like a S&W M&P Shield.

Damn, you beat me to it.

It's definitely staged, but it was staged by someone who's against Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

Here's an interesting little gem from their website:
What if George Zimmerman had not had a gun? | Moms Demand Action | Gun Sense

Seems they left out a few key points regarding that interaction...

I'll go in for a scone to show my support but I can't stand their coffee. Gives me the shivers just thinking about it.

They are not necessarily pro-gun, they are just not anti-gun. They allow open carry if it is legal in the state the store is in, and do not put up no gun signs.

More pro-gun than most large corporations, but I have not seen any actual support for firearms. I do let them know that I appreciate their policy on the very few occasions I go in there.

In Indiana, this has as much chance of happening as this woman does of being attacked by a polar bear and a regular bear, all on the same day.

    Ain't gonna happen.
