NEAT OLD W. War II Little Childs Bracelet
I found this at a Pittsburgh estate sale a while back. I sold it a few months ago on Ebay. I'm already sorry that I sold it. :(
The pic. was still saved in my 'puter so I thought I would put it on the forum for you folks to look at.
My...My...How times have changed!
The name on it was "ANNA" & the size was so tiny that it could only have been worn by a small kid.
No political correctness found on this bracelet!
It all made of brass. I think there is a torpedo - artillery shell/bullet - pineapple grenade - a plane (maybe it's a "buzz bomb") - I think the one "charm" is a land mine...& I never could figger out what the other thing was. (3rd on over from the left) a soldier maybe???? - Enjoy looking! Anybody know anything about these charms? Were they given out to kids as rewards or tokens or something:huh: as part of the War II collection drives for scrap metal & other materials?
Let me know if you know anything about this.

The second from the left looks more like a WWI doughboy helmet than a land mine. The third charm looks sorta like either a toy soldier or a whistle....

OH....A whistle...maybe a Navy type whistle! Yep, cause it was not too "soldier looking" Thanks!
