    Is it just me...

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it thoroughly insulting that Jane Fonda is portraying Nancy Regan in the new film "THE BUTLER"? For those of you too young to remember, do a little research on "Hanoi Jane" and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Well, not seeing THAT movie now. I'd feel bad for wanting to smack the on-screen Nancy upside the head.

As soon as I saw her in the movie I said "Traitor." My wife apparently didn't know her story because I got a weird look from her. I filled her in after the movie and she was shocked.

All I will say is that is a slap in the face of Nancy Reagan. Anything else would be unsuitable for a family friendly forum.

I bothers me she pulled the stunts she did during the war and still remained popular enough to have a acting career at all.

I really wanted to see this movie and still will, but it won't be in a way that gives them one cent of my money.

Well, it's an actress playing a character in a script.

Believe me, I wish I could see it as simply as that. My blood pressure would certainly benefit, but I guess I'm just too passionate about my principles to let it go.

Honestly, there are very few movies that I'm willing to see, as most actors are socialist political activists.

Then I saw this article and it started making more sense; The vast majority of these morons never even graduated high school! No wonder they believe whatever they're told:

I would never see any movie that Fonda is in. She's despicable no matter who she portrays. Having her play Nancy Reagan was Hollywoods little "finger in the eye" to all decent Americans.

I won't be seeing the Butler. Not only because of Fonda but because it's another race baiting drama being foisted off as fact when many of the events in the film never happened. Every Liberal I've talked to (and I know a lot of them) thought the movie was all factual.

For instance...his Mother wasn't raped and his Father wasn't shot. Those were made up for dramatic effect. IMO, that effect was to make white men look very, very bad.

More crapola from the Hollywood leftists.

It is pretty odd casting, must admit that. Personally, I wouldn't cast Jane Fonda in "The Story of Jane Fonda" - I don't think she can Act - (and Acting is my business).

Her character gets less than five minutes in the whole movie.
