    In North Carolina you must be 21 to get a pistol purchase permit or CCW, so how did a 19 year old acquire the gun? I’m not Jewish but something just ain’t Kosher here.

    Girl accidentally shoots, kills stepdad

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An 11-year-old Cleveland County girl accidentally shot and killed her 19-year-old stepfather after he handed her his new handgun.

    The Charlotte Observer reports (Cleveland County girl accidentally fatally shoots stepdad | CharlotteObserver.com ) that Bryan Reno died in his home outside of Mooresboro after being shot in the chest about 10:45 p.m. Friday.

    Cleveland County Sheriff Alan Norman said Reno bought the gun less than 24 hours earlier. The sheriff said Reno showed the gun to his stepdaughter as he 35-year-old wife Pamela Reno was sleeping.

    There is so much wrong in that story that it's hard to know where to begin. The guy was only 19 but his mommy, oops, I mean wife (who is 35) probably bought it for him.

    My Uncle Stepfather was on his third wife by the time he was 19.
