A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.

If it were my call, he would be replacing his trees too because all of those kids should have to pick their own switch and get a bare *** beating in addition to cleaning it up and paying it off.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
Really? Sue him for calling the kids out? If that were me at that age I would still be healing from my fathers wrath. Only one kid and parents showed up for the planned clean up??? That is how to teach kids responsibility. Has parenting in this day and age really gone that far down hill? Are we the last generation that feels responsible for our own actions?
Throughly disgusting. Those kids over 18 should be charged as adults. The parents want to sue? Don't make me laugh.
Looking at the pictures, I'd say there is WAY more than 20k worth of damages done to his house. Just having that beautiful wood paneling replaced will probably be more than 20k. I bet the final total will be somewhere in the 100k range, given the size of the house and amount of damages done.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
What he did was throw this back into 'small community' politics by using social media against the kids. Good for him for not rolling over!
Granted, some kids might wrongly finger point to others that were not there. However, I like the fact that he is pushing this and making it a 'National Discussion', at least as long as the MSM will allow it.
At the end of the day, those Idiot Parents are under pressure and hopefully some of them will learn that they are responsible for instilling real socal values and mores in their children! I hope the parents that know that their kid(s) were involved, and are fearing real legal litigation against their pocket books, are fearing the long arm of Civil Law!
They should have raised their kids better! They should suffer $$ at the highest amount allowed by the law for not being responsible teachers and parents of the youth they put into this world.
If I were Holloway, I would have already filed suit against the parents of all the kids involved.

In all seriousness, I shudder at the thought of what would have happened to me for this.
I've been asking myself the same questions for years. Nowadays, nobody's "little angel" has a speck of dirt on their halo and when it's not hovering around their head, it's somebody else's fault! Example: He could spoil their chances of going to college? No, when the little twerps decided to break into a home and practically televise their partying, they risked spoiling their chances of going to college and maintaining a clean background.“How is this OK? How did we lose our way, that this is acceptable behavior? And how do we find our way back?” said Holloway..

They ruined their college plans all by themselves. And if charges are pressed they should be targeted at the undisciplined hellions and the so-called “parents” that spawned them.“Some complained that this will ruin their kids’ college plans. Others have threatened me, saying ‘Take my kid’s name down or I’m gonna press charges against you.’

Holloway has hurt these kids chances of getting into college? What have the kids done to help themselves getting into college? Were they thinking about college aps when they broke into his house and had a party?
