I saw the owner interviewed the other day on FOX. The CC company told him they weren't going to do business with him anymore because he dealt in guns. They had been doing business with him for several years and the guys store name had the word "Gun" in it! So, they're just now figuring out he sells guns?

It's getting worse out there. When the Liberal agenda starts pushing economics, it's really bad.

Maybe gunners pay their bills on time; CC companies like some debt they can make a killing on (they borrow the money at 3%, charge you 15% - or if an hour late for payment, a million %).

Sounds to me like the Govt put some pressure on the credit card co. If that place is one of the largest gun stores in the country, they are paying some hefty fees to that CC co.

I dont see a company just cutting off a customer like that on principle.

    Turn the table.

Send a letter to the credit card company telling them that they can cancel the card because you don't like doing business with anti-gun pansies.

Capitalism hates a financial void. There will be someone more than eager to fill that very temporary vacuum. I go to Hyatts every time I visit there, and it is a nice, well-stocked store.

Sounds like I need to plan a trip up to NC. I never knew the biggest gun store in the nation was so close.

I’ve been to Hyatt’s a few times, you almost need a map and compass to find your way around. Very well stocked gun store plus they also sell coins, I can spend a lot of money there if I had it.

Anyone else find it ironic that there is an ad for "Square", another CC company that is going to refuse service to gun shops, right in the middle of that article?

It hardly qualifies as the "largest gun store in the nation."

I believe the McMillian family, of rifle fame, has stepped up to fill the void. They have created a new CC processing company that will absolutely work with the gun industry.

I am not following this my credit card is a Visa through Cabelas. Is this some company VISA owns or is it clear that this is VISA's policy? I don't carry a balance but get cabelas points even if I put it on the card and then pay it off when billed. If this is VISA's policy I guess the VISA has to go.

I figured Cabela's was the countries largest gun store.
