Nice! It looks like a volcano in the sky...

Here is a sunset from walleye fishing up in Canada:

Sister, msgt/ret and Jeanlouise like this.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Brady, that is a beautiful and very unusual picture. It's unreal looking.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Sunset over the Black Balsams. Blue Ridge Parkway between Mt. Mitchell and Spruce Pine, NC. May even be Mt. Mitchell or one of the ridges. Took this a few weeks ago.

And this was about a shot to the right.

Yeah, it was the most unusual sunset I've ever seen. I saw it developing and spent about 20 minutes photographing the progression.

Wow, this thread is a gold mine to an artist! Most of my Dad's oil paintings are of sunsets (and moons). Will certainly send him a link to this thread. DC has some wonderful talented photographers!

    Thank you all, wonderful pictures.
