Think you can outsmart Internet scammers?

Ever wonder how good you are at telling the difference between a legitimate website and one that's a phishing attempt? Take this quiz to find out:

    OpenDNS > Phishing Quiz

Whoo hoo! I'm a a phish-spotting ninja! I correctly identified 14 out of 14 sites in the OpenDNS phishing quiz.

Properly IDed 12 of 14 and thought 2 legit sites were Phish.

I said every single one of them was Phish and got 7 wrong. Better be safe and suspicious than sorry I always say.

Most of the sites I log onto have a secure server lock. Unless it has that, frankly I have no idea how to spot a phishing site.

    Jeanlouise,

Take the test again, and intentionally score each of them as "not a phish". Now look at the results, and click on the boxes of "Find out why" under the ones you got wrong. This will give you some helpful hints about how to identify malicious websites.
(Just a suggestion; since I'm a Network Security specialist, I think EVERYONE should know how to identify phishing emails and malicious websites!)
