That's very interesting. I think Houston Community College is in for a shake up.

The racial aspect is interesting too. Voters voting for a white man because they thought he was black? Hummm...wouldn't that in itself be racist? Aren't we supposed to vote on a candidate's platform, not the color of his skin?

    I love it.

As long as they are being politicians they might as well go ahead and flaunt their crookedness. This guy is smart and I hope he does a great job now that he is in the office to prove to the folks that voted for him that he's an American first and not just a white guy. Heck yeah they voted for him because they thought he was black. Good!

    Thanks Kennydale for posting this.

I am really missing it here. This is a story being reported by a REPUTABLE news source. It kind of made me laugh. I really don't think this is inflammatory? I thought i used the right group. Besides the Moderators can pull it if they feel the rules have been broken. I guess maybe forums like this should just stick to Firearm issues, and leave all others to FaceBook and Twitter (That includes threads like Movies, Music, what your drinking or eating, jokes, pets and Zombie folklore)

I think the forum rules mean that there will be no fighting or arguments over politics and/or race. Not that you can't discuss anything having to do with politics. An awful lot that pertains to the Second Amendment has to do with current politics and which politicians are protecting it and which are advocating the repeal of it.
