Tom Cruise says making a movie is like......
I hope this is in the right section. It is about the military.
Words can't describe how I am feeling after reading this. Making a movie is like doing a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Really.
I vote to boycott everything he has done and everything he will ever do.
Tom Cruise Compares His Job to a Tour in Afghanistan, Says Suri Is No Longer Practicing Scientology

Think being an Olympic sprinter or a soldier fighting the war in Afghanistan have it rough? According to Tom Cruise, his job as an actor is just as difficult as both of those occupations.
In a September deposition obtained by TMZ.com, Cruise compared shooting on location to serving a tour in Afghanistan. "That's what it feels like. And certainly on this last movie, it was brutal. It was brutal." The 51-year-old movie star then went on to claim that the physical training he does for his films are harder than training for the Olympics. "There is difficult physical stamina and preparation. Sometimes I've spent months, a year, and sometimes two years preparing for a single film," he said. "A sprinter for the Olympics, they only have to run two races a day. When I'm shooting, I could potentially have to run 30, 40 races a day, day after day."

Well crap man...who among us has never said something tremendously stupid in our lives? Granted this takes the cake but really?
I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.
America...a Constitutional Republic. NOT a democracy as the liberals would have us believe.

He should go live in a tent with our troops for about six months. He could just tell his actor buddies that he was training for a film.

These celebrities, most of whom are liberal extremists, have long since lost touch with any semblance of real world thought and living. Not only Tom Cruise but the lot of them.

A dumb statement to be sure, but I don't know about a boycott. It strikes me more as ignorant than disrespectful. Of course, he'd have to make a movie worth boycotting first anyway.

If we boycott every actor/actress that does or says something political or stupid, I would probably never see another movie.
Come to think of it, it has been 12 years since I've been in a theater.
Hm-m-m... yeah, they're not making any money from me anyhow.

Well he should know all about it. After all he's played a military man is several movies.
His statement doesn't surprise me at all. He's lived in his little hollyweird world so long, he believes his own BS.

He should take up the uniform and serve a few years, if he feels it's so laudable and comparable. He enjoys the one (acting) so much, he's bound to absolutely love it on a real battlefield.
Of course, there aren't many couches to go bouncing off of, out in the sandbox. No Oprah or red carpets, either, with drippy mindless "reporters" waiting on his every word.
Wait ... what were we talking about, again?
