It is a bit tough to get my hands into that dough-tossing pose, I'll grant.

The Curious George one does seem to be two right hands, but the other one I don't get (you have to think of it as someone leaning on a glass table over top of you).

First picture: Not necessarily an error, but it still bothers me. If those hands were from the same person, they're on the wrong side.
    Second picture: Two right hands.

Not sure what private schools have to do with a children's storybook with a poor illustration, and a privately-purchased workbook for my four-year-old son who isn't old enough to be in public school yet.

The first picture makes more sense if you look at it like someone facing you to play pattycake?

The first one is someone else's hands, not your own. I get where you're coming from.

The first picture is so it matches the kids hands if they place them on the workbook

Second picture I am still not sure what you are upset about

I think you are looking into this too much

That makes more sense, I guess. But the illustrator for the Curious George book there (not the original illustrator from the original books) needs to go back to anatomy class.
