'Love West Virginia. I'd be happy just to sit in the woods there and not see a buck all day. 'Hope you knock 'em down.

Sorry Rob, according to the EPA and BLM, Bucks are now an endangered species. No hunting for you!

You've inspired me Rob. I just may knock off early, grab the 30-30 and go sit in the woods until dark.

How about a 105mm Howitzer. Range shouldn't be an issue, and you only have to lob it close to take them down. Ofr course a direct hit is a little rough on the meat.

Now THAT'S excited! He'll either shoot one, or chase it down and tackle it like the sparkly vampires in Twilight.

    Good luck and stay safe!

None of that racist talk allowed on the forum. Are you trying to get Rob's thread shut down?

Take them all, except the Uzi just to be safe. WV Deer are exceptionally tough critters and many have survived multiple hits with large caliber weapons. They just laugh and run off towards the next county. Having the full arsenal you mention will even the odds a bit when bagging one. Go for it.

Just let me know which area you are in so I know what one to avoid until you score.
