    More proof that bad things can happen away from the "bad" part of town. I'd say the average household income within a mile of this store 150K + annually. These officers aren't used to responding to assaults, much less gunshots.

    Going to guess there is more to this one. I think it was a targeted shooting, not a random victim.

    My mistake. Didn't know it had to be specifically defense related. Unless this person was armed when shot, which isn't mentioned in the story, I see where it doesn't qualify.

    Any way for me to delete it? Or should I let it be?
