    Today I am mighty thankful!

My wife of 31 years still tolerates me.
My kids call occasionally and don't ask for money.
We have two daughters-in-law that are three decades of answered prayer. (still waiting for grandchildren)
I'm employed while many good friends got the axe a year or two before retirement.
I have a great boss and I really like my job.
    Cars are paid off.
After 40 years, I was able to buy a pristine Python at almost half the going price (pics coming).
I have a reservation in heaven that has jack to do with trying to be a good person.

These are some of the things I'm thankful for every day, year round...

I was lucky enough to be one of the one's who had two parents who made it work and love me dearly.

My sister and I fought like cats and dogs as kids, but now as adults, we're best friends and would go to the end of the world to help out and save one another (and have quite a few times).

I have a good job that allows me to get by and I actually do get to keep my insurance.

My mother who's always had health problems is actually doing quite well this year.

Though my girlfriend and I broke up about a month ago, I've been able to experience love, on multiple levels, throughout my life and it's made me a better person, not a bitter one.

I was born in the United States of America and I'm alive today to celebrate my 27th birthday with the people I love the most in life.
