Its Worse Than We Have Been Told

Ask yourself what was the best selling item at Walmart was over Black Thursday/Friday. Chances are you were wrong. While we are seeing people desperate to grab a TV, or Ipad, or whatever on TV, more, it seems desperately wanted... TOWELS. No kidding. TOWELS. Towels were Walmarts best selling item. Not TVs, not Cell Phones, not Ipads...Towels.

I think the economy is a lot worse than we have been told.

While I do enjoy a nice fluffy, soft, brand new oversized towel.....

    Pathetic. Just pathetic.

Just wondering how people buying lots of towels lead to that conclusion. Just trying to figure out how you got there.

People fighting over TOWELS, and towels being the number one selling item for walmart during the Xmas buying season sounds like something out of the last Great Depression, to me.

    Thats "how I got there".

Fighting over moldy bread, rancid meat, old vegetables would be the Great Depression. People wiped their hands on their shirts because food is always more important than towels. If you have the money to buy towels, things are not really that bad.

It is is a towel I am using, it better be way oversized. As large as I am, it would have to absorb at least a couple gallons of water after I step out of the shower.

And my brother, that is pathetic.

I like to do my Christmas shopping AFTER Christmas, when everything is 50% off.

However, my LGS had a Black Friday Sale, so I got my wife a new EDC. I came home after dark, gave it to her and said, "Merry Christmas".
She knows she will be getting her usual Christmas present AFTER Christmas. Maybe some nice "Towels" at the January "White Sale".
