    Martin Bashir resigns from MSNBC

Good riddance. It's hard to think of a worse Socialist than Bashir.

Martin Bashir resigned from MSNBC today due to his comments last month about former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Bashir's comments had implied that it would be appropriate for someone to relieve themselves in Palin's mouth. His vulgarity in making the comments deeply offended much of his viewing audience. The public backlash, even from Palin detractors, eventually forced his resignation.

He deserves his fate . But he most certainly is set for life so no real damage . He will show up in a year or two doing the same thing on another channel .

In this context, resigned means "We want you out because we don't need all this crap, but if you resign maybe we'll bring you back when this blows over."

I hate it when news hosts peddle ignorance, especially when they're rewarded with a ton of cash.

I've never seen him, or heard of him before the dust-up.

He should have been fired the second those disgusting words came out of his mouth. The fact that he wasn't just shows how low MSNBC has sunk. Let your commentators spew filth and maybe...just'll be asked to resign, but not before they check the ratings.

He's gone, now I'm hoping MSNBC will follow.

He took things to far,and it was uncalled for. I don't watch those shows that's political much. What little i've watched, it's supposedly grown people arguing over how the country needs to be run.

I always thought those that had the answers should run for president.I guess it's really easy to know what needs to be done, when you don't have to actually make any decisions.

I've watched that station a couple of times and he would fit well. All of them look like they were attacked with the ugly stick. Those women are right out frightening!

    See ya.

I've never been able to watch MSNBC for longer than 5 minutes. Depending who was on, I didn't even make it that long.

He has the "right" to spew vile and disgusting hatred towards another human being, if that is his desire.

It is also the "desire" of the company that employs him to "gently persuade" him to resign for spewing hatred.

He said some really vile and cowardly stuff. MSNBC is also cowardly for not firing his worthless carcass the moment after he spewed it. They are all about saving their show and ratings, not because he was so vile. Any company worth it's salt would have terminated him on the show and let millions of viewers see it.

They didn't, they took the cowardly way out. I had little respect for MSNBC, I have even less now.
