CB Caps For Self Defense ??

I was just rooting around through some of my old stuff & came across a pile of these old, tiny, .22 CB Caps. I've not shot any of them in a while! They were always FUN to shoot.

Super low power 22 if i rember right only charged with the primer or very tiny amount of powder

They are still available. BUY SOME!
CB caps can be used in any .22 rimfire rifle or handgun.
In a .22 rifle they sound just about like an air gun.
In a revolver or pistol they "crack" a little louder.
You need to hand single feed them into any pistol as they (of course) will not operate the slide.
They are just a round lead ball or tapered lead cone pushed into a cartridge case made of copper. I think the cartridge cases might actually be percussion rifle caps. (I'm not sure about that though)
You can also get larger length .22 longs as ultra low velocity CBs
I don't think there is any powder in there but I'm not sure. I think they just use MORE primer compound but no powder.
They move at around 800 + or - FPS. Folks use them for indoor target shooting.
They are very good for hunting moles and grasshoppers And...if you are a real good shot ~ plinking at wasps "on the wing"
THEY ARE FUN TO SHOOT!
If I remember correctly they will not quite penetrate a 1" pine board.

Only be careful. My friend shot 1 thru his anschutz target rifle. The bullet didn't exit the barrel .too tight of bore.
