    New Wrist Watch

After finding out my wife has a luminox under the tree for me - NOW I find out she could have saved some bucks if I'd known ahead of time about this one from Ranger Joes.

Oh Well, I'll love the one she got me - just hate she spent so much more for it....

Is the UZI watch exactly the same or made by Luminox?

Enjoy the watch! It's only money. I paid too much for my Wifes one gift BUT, at least I managed to get one!

I don't know who makes UZI. I don't think Luminox does or the price would zoom up. Maybe do a web search and see what you find.

Thanks. Oh and I will. Someone suggested that the luminox is a lot better quality made - better crystal and the other cheaper ones are made cheaper and wouldn't hold up as well. Makes sense, You get what you pay for.

I just recently got a Luminox and I really love it! I hope you like yours as well. I'm very impressed with the night time readability.

I think you will be happier with your Luminox instead of the Uzi. Luminox has a tritium light above each numeral and one at the 12 o'clock position on the bezel. The Uzi only has 12,3,6 and 9 positions with a light. Both have lights on the hour, minute and second hands. I think the Uzi is still a good watch and certainly a good deal.

Ok - Last nite sealed it. I'm VERY happy with my Luminox. Without my glasses I can still tell what time it is with it.

I had an indiglow and it did light up pretty good. Even made for a strong enough light to light up my path going to the bathroom at night without bumping or tripping over stuff BUT as bright as it'd get I still couldn't see what time it was without my glasses as the whole face was bright and I couldn't distinguish the hands from it.

The Luminox I have is mostly black with a subtle green hue face. Hands STAND OUT very well from the face and easy to read without glasses. That's what I've been needing.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.
