Deceased friend(no humor)
Every couple months I seem to have a dream about a high school friend of mine thats now gone.
Had one last night, and it just keeps going through my head today, so I thought I'd share it.
It starts with me walking out of a building in the same direction she's going and bumping into her.
I then sarcastically say, "Hey, are you a ghost?" thinking that her being dead was just an imagination.
And she replies, "Yes". It hits me then that she is a ghost.
We leave the building and she leads me to a pit.. steaming volcano type pit, and disappears as I'm walking toward her.
She appears again, smiles at me and jumps over the edge.
I woke up at that point, with a face I hope to never forget ingrained into my head.
You see, we weren't ever really friends. More like amiable acquaintances.
The thing that connected us to each other, was that we seemed to always know what one another was thinking, and what was going through each others heads.
We didn't even have to talk to communicate, and when we did we always knew what the other was thinking.
She was a diabetic, and died 2 years ago this January. She went into the bathroom, and didn't come out.
Eventually her boyfriend came looking for her, and had to break the door down.
Found her in a diabetic coma on the floor.
She remained in that coma for a week before she died.
I didn't hear about it till several months after it happened.

Some of our past associations in life can indeed be in a sense ''haunting''.
I think much has to do with the ''connection'' we had and the indelible impression they left on us. I have one such similar situation, but that goes back near three decades.

Her spirit is obviously trying to tell you about something.
There are many mysterious things about this universe...(maybe multiple universes) and dimensions that we don't understand anymore.
It's part of our now forgotten human knowledge.
If you communicated with her that well when she was here in her physical form then she will probably come back to you again in another dream. Things might get clearer to you then.
Be receptive to it.

My House is haunted by the guy that built it, seen him a couple of times, very unnerving especially when you draw on it.

I agree - I think your friend may be trying to tell you something. Or your mind is. I'd bet on her.
I have dreams occasionally about my friend who died last year. I can't explain why, but I will see her in random passing in my dreams. She never says anything, she just smiles her big smile. Its always good feeling when I see her.
The last apartment I lived in was haunted by a ~5-7 year old boy. Which is weird, because it was new. I'd randomly see him out of the corner of my eye. Little punk would hide items of mine. I actually left my keys on the counter, where I ALWAYS did, and when I came back from the bathroom to leave again.... they were gone. I never found them (even when I moved out). Three of my friends and I saw one incident where a cable splitter was just sitting on top of the TV and then it suddenly just flew across the room and left a small dent in the wall near the floor - just like someone had smacked it with their hand.
Say what I will about this kind of stuff... I'm convinced our friends and loved ones watch over us. They still talk to us and "get our back" - they just do it differently now.

I don't know exactly if you can call them ghosts but, do I personally believe that there is more to human beings than the "flesh shell" that we are housed in?
Yes, I personally do.

Interesting. My local paper actually ran a story some time back about visits from the recently departed. Apparently it is very common.
Happened several times with family members.
I received 3 visits from my father within the week after he died. Not dreams or apparitions, but actually involving physical objects being manipulated, twice objects were moved to give me a message (one witnessed by a friend), the third time I heard his voice over a radio saying, "Goodbye."

When I was 14 years old my Grandmother died. I was at school taking an Algebra test. All of a sudden I just knew that she was gone. I checked the clock (9:36am) and continuued with the test.
After school my Mom picked me up. I asked her how Grandma was and she told me that she had died. With all the tact of a 14 year old I asked "Was it at 9:36 this morning?"
The "official" time was 9:50.
Creepy? Yeah, a little, but I know for a fact that there are things beyond what we can normally see and hear.

I totaly believe in past lives, and the "other side". Not to long ago I met a total stranger and as we crossed paths i got a strange feeling, and stoped in my tracks and turned around just to fing that they had done the same. I struck a conversation whith them and I swear it was like we knew each other. I tried talking to my wife about it, but since the other person was a woman, she didn't wanna hear about it. I have met her in passing a few times since and we both swear we had some sort of connection in a past life.

Not going to get religeous here, but I do believe in God and the Bible. I do believe that we have a place to go at the end of time as we know it.
However, I have a hard time believing that we only get one shot at this thing called life.
I have seen things that are better left unexplained. I have heard things in places where the sound didn't belong.
I used to work in a casino in Reno (I will refrain for mentioning which one) that numerous enexpalinable events occurred, that were witnessed by several individuals. A little back story, several of the incidents occurred prior to the casino opening for business, and I was part of the opening crew. There were numerous "reports" of cold spots and apparitions.
I believe that you may very well be being visited. Try to listen to what she is saying. There may be something there.

I agree with several others, sounds like she is trying to warn you about something. You said she was diabetic. She may be trying to get you to be tested. I t is believed that there are about 16 million diabetics in the U.S.. The problem is that only 1/3 know they are diabetic. Please do yourself and her a favor, get checked. It is easy. They take a couple of vails of blood and run some tests. Being a diabetic I can say these tests may just save your life. I hope I am wrong but can you really afford to not take the test? BTW I weigh 235 am 5'7". My brother is 6'2" 365 lbs. and eats anything and everything and is not diabetic, so any one can be and not be the type you would normally think.

I had the almost same exact experience when my Grandfather died that you did. I woke up in the middle of the night and I knew that he had passed away. From a very deep sleep I was TOTALLY awake as soon as my eyes opened. I felt a sense of calm that he was ok and with God. He had suffered a long time and now was rejoicing in Heaven. When the phone rang a couple of hours later I knew. When I asked my Mom what time he passed, she told me and it was the exact same time that I woke up. It was one of those "Wow" moments that come just few times in life. My Grandfather and I were very close in life and even in death that bond couldn't be broken. I'm getting choked up just thinking about it again.
