I'm amazed you guys out West have been hit so hard. Often over here we get some pretty heavy stuff - and could well be we are in line for some in next 2 months or so.
Clearing the darned stuff is a major PITA - and the older I get the worse it becomes! Bad news here tho so far for local ski resort - they have delayed opening now at least 4 times. Musta lost a bundle of revenue.

Same here. No resorts open, snowmobile business is nil. rain and brown grass everywher. This is strange, we usually have some snow, if not several feet by this time each year.

Come on up to Minnesota. We have 2 inches of snow and it will be gone by Thursday.

I would love...just once...to have that kind of snow around here. I want enough snow on the ground to paralyze this city for a week. Besides, I need the vacation from work.

We've usually had several inches of snow in central OH by this time, but we've yet to have had one inch. I don't think we've even had grass covered yet.
I'm not shedding a tear or complaining; I'd rather have mild temps and rain than cold and snow.

Well, look on the bright side: could be worse. Consider this photo from the St. John's, Newfoundland, area from a couple years back. I guess you could say ... that blows.
