Town is a mess , LE stationed at the exits to prevent any more stranded motorests ect.. I did get a fiew pics of in town to show that we got a bit of snow . The drift at my back door was 80" by my tape mesure . As you can see some are resorting to alternate transportation lol . Some buildings in town damaged ect.. was a hellofa storm . I cant make it out to the cattle yet , but a rancher i neighbor with has snowmobiles , and has checked and fed my cattle for me . Next couple of days are going to get busy getting the place dug out once i can get to it .

I really hate snow, just for the fact that when ever it snows they put a ton of salt on the roads. Seeing how I have a new truck black truck I hate winter and having to wash it every other freeking day in the winter. I was hoping we wouldn't get any snow this year, but christmas day at about 10:00p.m. we got about 2" and they salted the crap out of every road .

We have about 400 stranded here in town as near as i can tell . National guard is bringing in mres and such . Word has it that it will be wendsday or so before we can get out of town , since all resources are still taken up rescueing stranded moterests . Its kinda like bagdad with all the blackhawks ect LOL .
In speaking to some of the LE that has been out with the snow cats and choppers drifts out of town are reaching 15 to 18 ft . The are using ir and thermal imiging to locate occupied vehicles for rescue .

We got a whole inch of snow. On top of an inch of ice. Power has been iffy for the past three days, news reports say there are some 40,000 homes and businesses in the area without power. Some do not expect to have power back for several days.
Just North West of here some places reported 30" of snow, most roads from Western KS into Nebraska and Colorado were closed, a few of them have re-opened today.
