    Cats Snore

One of my cats is laying next to me, and is snoring so loud I had tu turn up the TV so I can hear the basketball game. She is also snoring loud enough that she woke up my Pyr, and he was in a different room.

I've noticed that overweight cats snore more frequently.

I've had several that snored, but never loud enough to have to turn up the TV. By chance your cat doesn't look anything like this does it?

If so that could explain the loud snoring!

I saw this, laughed so much, she woke up and left.

You should hear the dog, when he snores!

My cat is a 15 pounder...but I've never heard her snoring...probably because I was snoring so loud I couldn't hear it.

Got a kick out of that picture. When my wife and I were dating, she came over to the house and my dog did that to her. Scared the **** out of her. The dog was actually looking over her head.
Luckily she got over it and 45 years later, here we are.

10 years ago my cat went missing a day or so and then showed up as I was going out of town for a meeting with a broken hind leg. I got her in a cat carrier (which was no small feat) and told my wife to take her to the emergency vet and call me. It was a holiday on top of that. She called me later and said it was broken and she needed surgery, orthopedic fixators, etc. and it would be $1,000. I told my wife to have it done and she went nuts. She said, "Why on earth would you spend that much money on a stupid cat?" and I replied, "Because she's the only thing in the house that loves me no matter what, that's why." My wife said, "What does that mean?" I replied, "If I lock you both in the trunk of my car for an hour, when I open it which of you will be glad to see me?" She replied, "Which checking account do you want me to write the check out of?"

What's even funnier is she had to take the cat to Physical Therapy every day for weeks and weeks...and she doesn't even like cats.

When the cat tells this story later, she's going to complain that her human laughs so loudly that she can't even get an honest day's nap in.
