…After the good news of getting off of public assistance and getting on Social Security Disability that Bear posted about yesterday, today’s mail brought more good news! The VA sent Bear notification that they approved his claim for service connected disabilities. It is only 30% but that with the SSD is a great day for Bear. All of the thanks go to God for getting us through the desert and bringing into the oases! Thank you Jesus and thank you to all of you who have prayed or sent positive thoughts our way! Bear said so…
That's great news. Every little bit helps, and the VA Disability is tax free.

Statistically, dementia is one of the greatest defeatable threats to my loved ones. The solution is to fund charities that hunt for a cure. This will also reduces the total amount of family that has to go through it. I'm basically racing against odds.
