    Anyone Superstitious?

Do any of you guys believe in superstitions or bad luck? This post right here is number 666.

I don't necessarily believe in them, but you won't find me walking under a ladder any time soon!

Well not necessarily superstitious but I'm mildly to moderately OCD which leads to a lot of quirky behaviors that many people could interpret as superstitious behavior. Lots of silly repetition and aligning of things. You should see me turn the page on a book "just" right
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them.....well, I have others.

I'm with you on the mild case of OCD. It comes out at work. Am I sure that I locked the door? Was the ammo count really right in the firearms? Yeah, I know your pain.

Yes. I don't care about ladders and black cats. I don't think it is anything crazy. It was like eating the same meal before a big game in high school and college or leaving a blackjack table when they change dealers.

This is an interesting question, and for me, no, I am not superstitious.

Who is superstitious? Pro athletes surely can be. Not all, but many.

Other groups too, but I won't go there; I don't want to be catty.

Reading the Sunday or even weekday newspaper comics has always brought me bad luck.

Any number that ends in one.... not superstitious about it, but man that a puts a burr under my saddle!

Not doing my secret homage to the four winds ceremony before a deer hunt will always bring about "No Deer"!

I've been doing something wrong since 1969 concerning my KC Chiefs going to the Super bowl......

I've got to be a teeny bit superstitious, because I've bought a lottery ticket because "I was feeling lucky that day". "Feeling lucky" is a subset of superstition.

One of my friends is an avid astrologer, and it sometimes drives me nus, because I have no idea how she comes to some of her conclusions. You've never seen Confirmation Bias (the psychological quirk) until you've talked to an avid astrologer.

Consider matching your Thanksgiving dinner spending to DwB donations. It's a rare for investment and charity to converge.

As well, there are millions in potential patents possible for those with a tool shed, ideas, or creative loved ones to tell.. (and gumption) It's an untapped technology.

Nope. I always go to checkout lane #13 because nobody is ever there or maybe just a few compared to the other lanes. I get out of Wally's pretty quickly that way.
