Tracking Crime in Your Area (Resource)

RAIDS Online Is a crime tracking website that can be adjusted for a very local area. I belong to a Community Watch, and this is the resource our community Captain relies on. (and i always thought he had close connections at our Sheriff's Department!)

There are a couple web-sites in my area. I keep close taps on my area and the area around my church.

Me either although I see that West Virginia University made the map. LOL

Interesting web site, I wish more areas were represented.

The local newspaper (twice a week) for our county lists every crime and calls for service including nuisance bears, etc. Often there is just not a lot to report!

Crime on individuals isn't too bad in my area, lots of grow houses and burglaries though. That's not counting the politicians in deep doo.

Yep. Best local rag for this is the Key West Citizen. When I was stationed down there we loved reading the crime report, it was amazing what went on in that little town!

The only thing that showed up in my area was sex offenders. I know my town has high crime. I hear it every day on the radio.
Gun control isn't about guns...it's about control. It also makes criminals out of otherwise law abiding citzens.

Were you there for Halloween? We often took the high speed ferry from Naples to Key West. It was much faster than driving and you could drink on the boat.
