He shouldn't get parole, he should have to do the entire 10 years.

    Inspiring for women victims everywhere.

I hope the ex crosses her in a dark alley!

I still don't understand why hiring a hitman is not simply considered attempted murder. And I still don't understand why the punishment for attempted murder is not the same as committing a murder.

Hmmm. Sounds like the husband in this case might have been employing a "Remote Self Defense" strategy.LOL

They should hang the ex-husband by the booger he has at his nose . And charge him with murder for the dead guy .

He should want to stay in the full ten years. That "scorned woman" thing, you know?

"I didn't choose my attacker's death for him," she said. "I chose my life."

Money quote right there. Call it will to live, or warrior spirit; seems she has it.

Extraordinary woman. She should go on the lecture/inspirational circuit with her story. Her ex should have received 25 years at least.

Sure! For the record, I did actually like the post.

This is quite a story. Probably not much of a hit man, but still, wow. I wonder how this goes over on dating websites. "love the outdoors, long walks on the beach. Looking for a no-drama relationship after my ex sent a hitman after me and I had to kill him with my bare hands."

"Yet this government never of itself furthered any enterprise, but by the alacrity with which it got out of the way... The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way."
