BAD: it can happen anywhere... two officers lost in murder suicide

Two local officers were lost in an apparent murder suicide. Domestic violence can strike anytime anywhere, to even the most highly trained. Such a sad ending. This makes three officers lost in less than a year here in indy

OP, When, where, how? A link might be useful if you are looking for cogent responses. Did one officer shoot his partner then himself? Is this what you are referring to?

I don't think being "highly trained" has anything to do with it. You might find this interesting:

Someone with a plan, and determined to do 'wrong' is almost impossible to stop.
Training has little to do with anger and evil inconveniently mixed.
Sad day for families and cohorts.

LEO's have a lot of stress and I have known more than one who have had marital/relationship problems. Agree that anyone who is determined to do harm is very hard to stop.

    Very sad situation.

Just a suck deal all the way around. Condolences to families of the slain officers.

Sad story, but it also illustrates how useless a protective order is, even for cops.

Being officers, you'd think one of them would know this was illegal.
