And I've got the big mounted fish with the 100-yard bullet hole in its eye to prove it.

I shot plenty more but I changed targets after that one. : )

At 100 yards I couldn't see the shot on the target and I was wondering if it was even on paper. So I walked down range and saw it was on the money so I changed targets.

Nice. Did you reload the Sierras? I have a Savage 223 1 in 7" twist and would be interested in trying the 69 grain bullets with a good starting point for reloads.

No. I do reload but these are factory Federal GM match rounds.

Admit it, you were aiming at the middle of the C in Caldwell. It will make you feel better.

    This:

Weaver Tactical Grand Slam Rifle Scope 3-10x 40mm 1/10 Mil Adjustments

It's no Night Force but it's quite nice for the price.

Nice setup. I have a Konus 6x20 and it also is not a Nightforce but it works. Kind of a middle class varmint rig but I like it. Longest shot 435 yards on a prairie varmint. I won't mention all the misses.

    Edit:
Thanks I will try those factory SMKs.
