    Powered Alcohol

Apparently no joke but is it a game changer or novelty? I can see the usefulness in certain situations but should it indeed become available just in time for kickoff, I doubt I will be purchasing any. How about you?

Yeah right, and I just invented instant water. Just add water to a glass and you're good to go.

I heard on the radio this morning that the approval for this was issued by mistake and will be revoked...

Yep, I just did a search and it was an error, but still going through the process.

Sorry, folks: powdered alcohol isn't legal in the US just yet

Sporting event attendees, concert goers, etc are going to be very happy if/when this does hit the shelves. Easy to sneak in and then just buy a bottled water or a softdrink and mix it up.

It warns people that the powder should not be snorted.

Not long before someone will try this.

AFAIK - it was the LABEL that is the issue not the product itself.

Could be useful in a EOTWAWKI type situation methinks

Binaca anyone? Just kidding. I can see where this might have applications in some cases. But at 12% I won't be wasting my moola on this. Most wine is 10-12% alcohol and hey I don't like wine so I don't drink wine. Besides if it was 80 proof minimum I might be interested in several pounds.
