    Battlefrog Race

I think I'm signing up for the battlefrog race in my area. It is a 15K race with 25 obstacles (like a 3 story rope net). Sound like fun! I'm definitely going to have to train, but I like a good challenge. Plus, some of the proceeds go to benefit the Navy Seal Museum, the Navy Seal Foundation, and other Seal-related charities.

Anyone done one of these, or something similar?

    Sorry, Badey.

    I'm highly allergic to running.

    Good luck with the race.

I thought about doing the tough mudder, but the one in my area is happening too soon for me to train for.

There's another Tough Mudder being held nearby me, I'm not sure when it is...this summer sometime I think.
Last year a guy drowned so there was some controversy over it being held again this year.

Get some beer and rent a boat at the lake instead, no need to run when something isn't chasing you

We have the USMC Mud Run down here in SC. I've done it a few times - you'll love it. Lots of fun and a great feeling of accomplishment once its over. One word of advice - TEAMWORK!

Is that anywhere near Myrtle Beach? I don't plan on running but would love to watch some USMC young men run and roll around in the mud.

I tried the frogman thing (for real). My shoulders couldn't handle it. I'll stick to things that won't require surgery.

I know I couldn't hack trying the real thing, but this sounds like fun. So far I'm not having any luck convincing any of my friends to try it with me.
