I have been having really bad luck, finally talked to some of the locals see what they are using.

found these things called Trout magnets. Its basically a system.. WORKS INCREDIBLE well.

Mine are the four on the left. My buddies caught the little ones.

Very nice haul! I've only been once this spring and it was so windy that my lures would fly back at my face when cast. Haven't had another opportunity...yet.

Looks tasty. Only trout I usually catch are brook trout through the ice! Open water I usually catch bass and pike, mainly because of the areas I fish in the summer.

Very nice! I haven't had a chance to get out yet this year. One of my favorite rivers is a delayed harvest so its catch and release until June 1st

I sit around the goldfish bowl all day and I got this:

    Gear:

    Ultra Light spinning Road
2 lb test line Flouro Carbon, Didn't know this until recently The only line trout can't see is Flourocarbon.
Then I'm using this system which I've never seen anything work as good as these little things.

    Walmart carries them.

1/64 ounce jig head with splittail, and a FAST Attach strike indicating float 4 foot leader.

Cast let it drift in still water super super slow retrieve.

Their motto is really cool "We don't fish, we catch"

NO SINKERS, the manufacturer says only use a sinker in very fast moving water and only then use a one small BB split shot.
