I currently drive a 2013 Ford 150 STX. Its a great truck, comfortable and a nice ride. However, I miss my 1991 F150. I put 275,000 miles on it before I sold it to a guy with a "Monster" shop. He was going to rebuild it. Truth be told, I'd rather have it back and drive it rather than the new one. I miss that dang truck!! It never failed me.

Got a heavy duty ram 100,000+ miles original battery just put new tires on at 90,000. Runs like a top. Wife's durango 140,000 also runs great. Zero problems with either one. Not really partial to any one brand I work on cars and think they are all overpriced junk. You just get a good one or you don't.
I currently drive a 2006 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Crew Cab, white with camper shell with locking gun case inside and Yakima rack on top of it. It's got custom light gray leather interior, special order chevy chrome wheels, factory tinted glass all the way around, and K&N filter intake system, 327ci. Only has 56K miles on it. But truth be told I liked my 1996 Silverado King Cab Dark Green with Tan lower accent and tan leather interior and Vortec 350 better. I had put a 4" rise camper shell on it painted matching green with the cargo door windows on the sides. I had it for 12 years and it only had 85K miles on it when I sold it. The 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited black and gold 318ci with Quadratrack all time 4x4 was the best offroad and in snow I ever had. I had 185K miles on that jeep when I sold it and it still looked and drove like brand new and I never had to do anything to it other than regular maintenance. I wasn't even trying to sell it...a guy at work offered me a crazy price for it in the hall one day and I took it. Had to call my wife to come get me at work. I loved that Jeep...was like driving a 4x4 sports car.

I've had a few really nice trucks, but the one I miss the most was the least expensive and least impressive of 'em all... A 1995 Nissan 4x4. That little truck did more and went places I'd never dream trying to take the nicer trucks. If I could find one like it in decent shape, I'd buy it just to have.

I have owned lots of work trucks of all sizes and types , also cars/suv's always Ford ..............................Fords are work horses IMO
That i've owned? 2006 dodge ram 2500 cummins turbo diesel. With the mega cab option.
That I haven't owned; 79 power wagon crew cab. (the new ones are nice too!)
2002 F350 with 7.3 Diesel. Owned it about 8 years and drive daily. Never a problem of any kind. Ever.
Right now I am on my 7th truck and my 4th Ford. Mine is an 04 Ranger 4 door XLT. It's my 2nd Ranger. The extra doors are great and I'm glad I got them. It's been a good truck for me. My old new truck was a 1990 Ranger. It was more fun to drive and got slightly better mileage I think. I was 38 when I got it and for some reason I got red. My 04 I got at 52 and red was the last color I ever would have chosen. Except for routine maintenance all I've had to put into it was 1 front brake job and 4 new tires. It has about 83,500 easy miles.

I know it's not a pick up but my vote is for my Jeep Wrangler. There's only one.
I have missed my 78 f 350 4x4 the most. I put a sweet 460 in it. That had a balanced rotating assembly with a Lunati cam L&L headers 3inch dual exhaust and flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers. and a 750 c.f.m. eddelbrock carb. what a sweetheart.
I used to drive a 64 ford with a 300 inline 6. almost like a tank, it would bounce off just about anything. I wouldn't mine having another.
I have a 1980 F-100, a holdover from 79. Three on the tree, no a/c, worm drive steering. You rebuild the engine with a hammer and crescent wrench every 250,000 miles. No smog. EMP proof. And gets 18-22 mpg.
