Protesters strip for chicken treatment - wierd
I found this on the "Cincinnati Enquirer's" website today.
If I can figure out how to put the picture up here, I will. This all does seem kinda pointless to do in December though. And how exactly does one torture a chicken? Don't these people know what a fox does when it gets in a hen house anyways?
AVONDALE - Some commuters may be suffering from minor whiplash today because of the second takes they did during a demonstration yesterday.
Members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals protested in front of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Reading Road in Avondale. Despite the cold, a few of them even took off their clothes using only a banner to cover up.
A PETA spokesman says they were trying to call attention to their claim that chickens supplied to KFC are abused in factories and slaughterhouses. KFC managers declined to comment.
My only problem with KFC is that it makes my fingers greasy so I have would have to add a finger lickin step to the draw process.

Chickens are raised in houses packed in trucks sent to processing plants and then find their way into my tummy.
I don't think the process is cruel, pain is not inflicted upon them for pains sake. They are treated well for food items, not well as far as people are treated.
Inhumane can only happen to humans
Thats why they are called animals not people.

Why didn't the police arrest these two "bimbos" for indecent exposure?
If it were two men up there you can bet they would be arrested in a nanosecond.

I'm all for this kind of protest, as long as they aren't uggers.

Yeah, that's PETA. I used to be a member back when I was... well slightly misguided. If you think stripping to protest KFC is bad, you haven't seen the real hardcore activists. ALF, or the Animal Liberation Front are the ones you really want to look out for. ALF claims responsibility for numerious firebombings, vandalism, and destruction of verious vivisection labratories, furriers, industrial chemical facilities that test on live animals, etc. I lost interest in PETA when I found out they were scaring the hell out of children entering KFC's by handing them comic book-style leafletts of a woman covered in blood and repeatedly stabbing a live chicken, with the inscription "Your mother kills chickens!" On the back, there was a photo of a chick (the cluck-cluck kind, not the hot woman kind) with "I am not a nugget. Chickens are our friends, not food" written under. Needless to say, targeting children by using FEAR to invoke a message left me terribly upset and subsequently cancelled my membership.

Lay off the Protestors. They are right.
The poor chickens live in a cramped chicken house with no color TV, no weight room, no pool and most importantly, NO LIBRARY.
That means we are eating stupid chickens.
Oh the shame of it all.
They still taste good.
There's room for all of God's animals at the table. Next to the mashed potatoes.

The chickens have WAY more sense than the protesters!

"Why is everybody always peckin on me" 'Eggstrordinary story' - the yoke was on the protesters!
That means we are eating stupid chickens.

I wish I would have known about this, I would have gone down there and tossed some dollar bills.

It Was Cold...It was Outside...
So is was only a 'shrivelled' chicken protest anyway...

Nutjobs. PETA is a terrorist organization. They support ELF and ALF. Both of them on the domestic terror watch list.

I would have shown up with a bucket of KFC, and yes, I would bring enough for everyone.
